back Normal Whois

Server:
Port:
Query:
(Valid characters for most whois servers: Alpha-Numeric, "." and "-")

So you are here cause the OTHER page didn't give you enough info....

Clues for getting MORE info with this page:

1. If you don't know where to start, check out www.allwhois.com , they list pretty much all the servers internationally. (Why not just use www.allwhois.com in the first place? Well, they will send you to the actual server, and if the server doesn't like where you are coming from , they won't respond. This page offers you an alternate source to query from ... kinda like a proxy of sorts)

2. If you can't get the info you want from the server, look for "referral" info in the returned messages, they may tell you which server you SHOULD be querying and which PORT to use.

3. There are two main ports to query, 43 and 4321. Someplaces designate certain kinds of queries to different ports. If you find a place that uses a port other than 43 or 4321 let me know who and where and I'll add the port. For security reasons, only communication to ports 43, 4321(default) are allowed through this form.

This is not as nice as the Whois Form but that is why its called "Advanced"
*meaning: You are on your own here.

Aug 26, 2001: Added feature to perform second query if referral/redirect was found in a response.
Hint: You can drill-down using the "New Query" links for successive referrals.

Aug 13, 2008: relocated server to 74.220.215.245 (now hosted at hostmonster.com / bluehost.com)
